Project Handed-Over to Al Yamamah

DTC signed a contract with Al Yamamah Trading and Contracting Company on October 22, 2017, for the establishment of their Steel and Electromechanical Industries Factory in Dammam. Our team worked passionately on this project ever since we signed up for it. Our scope of work was the implementation of tasks for their administrative building and a warehouse spread across an area of around 43000 square meters.

We were required to implement the project designed by Impact Office for Engineering Consultations. They also got their design approved by city authorities Modon to save us from any complications. They also supervised the implementation of the project and worked with us collaboratively. Their team was very professional and experienced and we appreciate their cooperation with us in the seamless completion of this project.

We procured all the prefabricated structural steel from Zamil Steel Holding Company as contracted by Al Yamamah. We initiated the project with the installation of these steel structures.

Afterward, we designed plans for electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and safety services. Our team visited the buildings and analyzed the requirements of all these needs. We assessed and calculated these needs and formulated a detailed implementation plan, engineering design, and layout. Our team followed this extensive plan to follow up the implementation services. Impact Office for Engineering Consultations supervised all the services that we provided in this project.

We offered interior finishing services. These services included finishing staircases (internal and external), installing floors (ceramic marble and epoxy layer), plastering, false ceiling, painting job, and door installation.

We also offered electromechanical services. The scope of these services involved installing electrical circuits from distribution panels with internal connections and main supply to operating switches. The internal lighting system, telecommunication system, color CCTV installation, door control, and access control system were also a part of our job which we did satisfactorily. We checked all the connections to ascertain that they are functioning properly. Along with these we also did plumbing works including the installation of sewage pipes, tanks, pumps, sanitary, water supply (hot and cold water), and electric water heaters.

The HVAC services we offered for this project include a heating system, ventilation system (fans to withdraw air, air distributors), air conditioning systems (split AC), and extensive internal ductwork.

We also responsibly installed all safety equipment and firefighting systems to ensure safety against any fire emergency. We installed a modern fire alarm, the latest water sprinkle system, a firebox, fire extinguishers, pumps, valves, and pipes.

Before handing over the project we did an extensive quality check to ensure that all installed equipment is in perfect working condition. We precisely monitored and reviewed all services because we have a zero-tolerance policy for quality checks. After satisfactory quality control reports, we delivered the project to Al Yamamah on December 12, 2019.

DTC feels pleasure that Al Yamamah appreciated our efforts and is quite satisfied with the project. It is an honor for DTC that this project aided in increased local industrial production and job creation in KSA.
