DTC ( Dorar Tammam Co. ) formally signed a contract with IGas Al Khobar Industrial Gases and commercial EST on January 3, 2018. The contract was signed for the establishment of a factory and warehouse for IGAS Al Khobar in the 3rd Industrial area in Dammam. Following the scope of the project, we established the said unit spread over around 4000 square meters. We promised to hand over the project by end of the year 2019. Living up to our promise we completed and delivered the project on October 10, 2019.
This project was a bit of a challenge for our team and we are glad that we faced that challenge. IGas Al Khobar appreciated our efforts and timely completion of the project. Their satisfaction and appreciation are what keep us going.
Like every other project, our team worked quite hard. Right after we signed the contract we requested AlFarid consultancy to hand over the design of the building to us. This is because IGas has an agreement with them whereby they designed and approved the building structure from Dammam industrial state. So we had to follow that design to establish the facility which we did. We got the required designs, and study those to understand the requirements.
Our team also visited the site to know the real condition of the site and desired treatment for the surface layer. We also devised a breakdown of all the activities and services by making realistic estimations and calculations such as the electricity requirement, the requirement for plumbing and ventilation, etc. We made extensive shop drawings engineering designs and layouts. By keeping all the bits of the plan in mind we started implementing the project and offered the following services

AlFarid engineering consultancy kept in touch with us throughout the project. We involved them, especially in building the concrete structure of the building. Later they surely kept in contact and look after the project progress and site work but mostly we worked as per our gut and calculations. Our team improvised the plan wherever necessary as per the changing scenarios. Our team wore protective gear while installing electrical equipment because we are responsible for the safety of our employees. We follow international standards of health and safety.
Though AlFarid consultancy gave us a satisfactory report for the project but we preferred to follow DTC protocol. Our quality control department visited the site and precisely check all the services from time to time. They reviewed the electricity installation and requirement analsyis. They also reviewed our plans and what we implemented for HVAC and firefighting services. Our quality control team also checked the functionality of all installed equipment whether it was for electricity, water, or temperature maintenance. This thorough inspection was done to ensure that the quality is beyond expectation because superior quality is what DTC is known for. We handed over the project to IGas Al Khobar when our quality check team gave a satisfactory report.
