DTC is proud to announce that it has achieved ISO 45001:2018 certification, the new international health, and safety management standard. With clean health and safety record and a spirit of continuous improvement, it is of utmost importance to DTC to have an effective occupational health and safety management system in place to mitigate issues that could harm employees and the business.In 2018-2019, 147 workers died on the job, and an estimated 0.6 million workers suffered non-fatal injuries due to work activities. The ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) standard provides better solutions to manage health and safety risks and reduce associated costs to organizations.

DTC has been certified as compliant with the new occupational health and safety management standard ISO 45001: 2018, becoming one of the best companies in KSA to achieve this standard.

ISO 45001: 2018 is an international standard that specifies requirements for occupational health and safety (OH&S) management systems, enabling organizations to prevent work-related injuries and illnesses and provide a safe and healthy workplace by improving OH&S performance. It is the first time DTC has achieved ISO 14001 environmental certification in addition to successfully recertifying to the new standard.

DTC applies its own “Safety First” safety program to all projects and promotes a proactive approach to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) management in all workspaces. DTC’s “Safety First” mentality is seamlessly integrated with the new ISO 45001 standard, which sets forth effective processes for improving workplace occupational safety.

We are pleased to have achieved ISO 45001: 2018 certification. This standard complements our leadership strategy, risk management plan, engagement, and collaborative philosophy through our “Safety First’ program in all DTC projects. And we are proud to be recognized for that through certification to this occupational health and safety standard.
