Fix reinforcement as per approved shop drawings.
-
Cast foundations and columns using approved concrete mix.
-
Conduct slump and cube tests for quality control.
6.3 Anchor Bolts and Base Plates
-
Set anchor bolts accurately using templates and coordinate with steel shop drawings.
-
Verify bolt alignment and elevation before concrete pour.
-
After curing, check base plates for alignment before column erection.
6.4 Structural Steel Erection
-
Erect steel columns using cranes under supervision.
-
Install rafters, bracings, and purlins sequentially.
-
Perform bolting and torque checks as per manufacturer’s guidelines.
-
Conduct welding works following WPS (Welding Procedure Specification).
-
Inspect all connections visually and dimensionally before proceeding.
6.5 Roof and Wall Cladding
-
Install insulation (if required).
-
Fix roof sheets, ensuring proper overlaps and sealant application.
-
Install wall cladding with fasteners, trims, and flashings.
-
Check alignment and appearance of all panels.
